Hi, I’m Shan!

Most people in the art world know me simply as Shan. I’m a self-taught realism artist specializing in graphite and ink, and I’ve been in love with drawing for as long as I can remember - but portraits have always been my true expertise and absolute passion. Capturing a person’s likeness, expression, and presence on paper is what inspires me most.

I launched my art business in 2019 at just 18, and since then I’ve created hundreds of custom artworks, exhibited at the Pretoria Art Museum as a Top 100 Sasol New Signatures finalist, and taught dozens of students through live workshops.
